Be careful what you say to your child
Mind your use of words!
What comes out of your mouths are very powerful (word are powerful), so it is important to choose words more especially when it has to do with children because the utterances one makes to them can have a positive or negative effect on them. It could affect not only their future but their self-esteem and outlook. Whatever you say to your children negatively stays with them, it sticks to them and they grow up hearing your voice in their mind, whether good or bad.
Some people share the views on what to say and what not to say to a child. Some people believes that the words we speak have life and can have serious effect on the hearers mind.
Some also said it not good to abuse your child or any other person in the society because it is written in the holly book that the word we speak have life and speaking wrong words will have negative implication. So it is important to speak word of blessing rather than curses.
In our societies today there are some form of correcting a child rather than resorting to insult. If a child err is the responsibility of good parents to call that child to order, explain to the child his mistake and tell him what to do next.
The more you tell a child you are stupid, the more they feel they are stupid, they will be like why should I try by the way my mum says I am stupid.
When you tell a child you have no sense in you; what do you expect the child to do? They will just feel, why should I try I have no sense in me. Whether they are right they will be afraid to do it instead they wait and rely on someone to make the decision for them which very bad to the life of every individual. They will be afraid to face their future.
